Warm Greetings from SEAMEO VOCTECH Regional Centre, Brunei Darussalam!
Ever since the establishment of SEAMEO VOCTECH (SV) in 1990, the Centre has striven to maintain high quality training programmes and offer services that provide value to our customers, and become one of the significant SEAMEO Centre across the region and beyond, with the slogan of “Together We Excel”.
Guided by the Sixth Five-Year Development Plan (6th FYDP), our training programmes are anchored on the 5 core areas spelled out in the Key Result Area: Training and Professional Development, which include: Curriculum Development and Evaluation, Leadership and Management, Teacher Education, Research and Development, and Information and Communication Technology, which serve as the basis of the Regional Training Porgrammes to be conducted every fiscal year.
Recently, the Centre is actively focusing on online training programmes that are closely related to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) through collaborations with its strategic partners such as GIZ-RECOTVET, Germany for the Regional Knowledge Platform project, SEA-VET.Net; Training Programme on “Technical Skills for TVET Teachers in Southeast Asia” in collaboration with TEMASEK Foundation and ITEES, Singapore; and NOCN-Group, United Kingdom for the Training of Trainers (ToT) and Training of Assessors (ToA) certification programme with other stakeholders.
With active participation of Governing Board Members and Partners, I strongly believe that the Centre will continue to develop innovative programmes and research activities that meet the needs of the stakeholders. In realizing our vision, we are committed to serve the member countries through various quality services as articulated in the 6th FYDP.
My sincere thanks to the SV Management and Staff for your contribution to the Centre. I hope that the Centre will continue to strive towards achieving its vision and mission, as well as Wawasan 2035, as a whole.
