On 25 June 2024, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation Regional Centre for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (SEAMEO VOCTECH) and Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology (NJITT) came together in an exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties at SEAMEO VOCTECH Regional Centre, Brunei Darussalam. 

From SEAMEO VOCTECH (SV), it was attended by Centre Director Mr Haji Norjemee bin Jenek with management and staff of the Centre. Representing NJITT were the Institute’s Vice President, Ms. Liu Xuefen, along with key officials including Ms. Wang Yanmei, Mr. Zhong Shangwei, Mr. Guo Zhaosong, Ms. Wang Wenting, and Ms. Zhang Mengmeng.

The ceremony highlights the Regional TVET Centre’s ongoing commitment to TVET activities and collaborations, emphasising capacity building and training with key regional partners.

“The expertise and commitment of NJITT are commendable and we are eager to embark on this journey together. This collaboration represents a significant step towards empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary for all personal and professional growth” shared Centre Director, Mr Haji Norjemee in his welcoming remarks. Also present to support the partnership, were representatives of the Political Section from Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in Brunei Darussalam and Go Study Global Education., The People’s Republic of China.
