In-house Session on “ISO Awareness Day: Connecting Our Responsibilities”

1. INTRODUCTION & RATIONALE
This one-day in-house session aims to strengthen a unified and collaborative understanding of the Integrated Management System (IMS) across all divisions of SEAMEO VOCTECH. Its primary purpose is to ensure all staff clearly understand their roles and responsibilities as outlined in the Centre’s Terms of Reference (TOR-01) and relevant work instructions. This shift encourages staff to move from habitual practices to a structured, process-driven approach aligned with ISO requirements.

This session will serve as:
1. Induction for New Staff: Providing a clear overview of the Centre structure and workflow.
2. Refresher & Update for Existing Staff: Reinforcing knowledge and introducing any updates
under the current management.
3. Conflict-Prevention Measure: Clarifying workflows and inter-division interfaces to avoid
overlaps, gaps, and miscommunication.

We will focus on creating a collaborative and unified mindset by:
1. Connecting our ISO responsibilities to show how individual roles contribute to the entire
system.
2. Mapping ISO responsibilities to illustrate end-to-end processes.
3. Aligning staff understanding across all divisions.
